My story

Hello my name is Raj and my audiophile journey began when I was very young, in fact only a few years old, back in the1960s. My family noticed that I was always happy when there was music playing, be it a live event or on the old valve radio set we had.

So, they bought me my first portable transistor radio, which I loved so much, it was well used by myself for many years until it packed up.

As I grew a bit older, I noticed that the live music always sounded much better than the music that came out of the radios. It was this that sparked my quest to reproduce the sound of real music in the home.

This passion for music set my path on the audio nirvana journey

I studied design electronics to help me on my journey and help me understand the science behind it all.

As I grew older, this passion grew stronger, and I started to design and make my own audio gear from an early age. I made countless projects over the years, some great some not so great, as my understanding and skills improved, so did the projects.

After many setbacks in life, my passion is even stronger now

With the full support of my family, I’ve decided that now is the time to put some of my light bulb moments into practice and keep the old grey matter in shape.

For me to achieve this I have set up Acoustic Origin, where with the help from my family, I can fulfil my passion for recreating music in the home.

I have adopted the path, that I have always followed in the past.

That is to " KEEP IT SIMPLE " where " LESS IS MORE ".
